Spicy Curry Sardine Pasta

If Tuna works well with pasta, Sardine will do just as well, but you need to cook the Sardine in a different way.

As we are aware that Sardine has a very strong fish smell, so spicy is the best way to cook with the pasta. Hence, this is the Spicy Curry Sardine Pasta.

The ingredients are rather simple, just onions, fish curry powder, Chilies, Chili Sauce, Tomato Sauce or Lime juice, and a can of Sardines.

Cut the onions and stir fry in the hot pot with some oil.

When the onions turns soft, add in the chilies according to the level of spiciness desired.

Put in a can of Sardines with the sauce.

Remember to remove the bones.

Then mash the Sardines into pieces, sometime Gibson will mash until very fine, but today for the purpose of Photography, we will keep it in large pieces.

Gibson mixes the curry powder with water prior adding into the Sardines.

Then add in Chili Sauce for sweetness, if you like a bit more sweetness, you can add sugar.

If you don’t have Lime juice, you can use Tomato Sauce to give it a sour flavor. Mixed it all and stir well.

This Spicy Curry Sardine Sauce can mix with any Pasta, but Gibson prefers the Spirals, like Rotini (in this picture) or the Vegeroni Spirals (in the main picture).

Mix well and bon appetit.
