=Penang= 5-course American-inspired dinner at Hotel Equatorial Penang

In conjunction with the 240th Independence Day of the United States, there was a Gala Dinner celebration at Hotel Equatorial Penang, where 400 distinguished guests were invited and served with the 5-course American-inspired dinner that was prepared by Chef Jean-Claude Pihon (Exec Chef of Grand Hyatt Dallas), and Gibson was so honoured to have been invited by Hotel Equatorial Penang to be a guest at the event.

The prestigious event was held on 1 July 2016 that was organized by the American Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) collaborated with its organizing committee- First Solar, Jabil, Hotel Equatorial Penang, Celestica, Tech Dome Penang and Venessa Diamonds, where they managed to raise RM178,200 with 3 beneficiary organizations, namely AMCHAM’s MACEE Scholarship, Tech Dome Penang and Dream Zephyr Foundation.



The CM of Penang-YAB Lim Guan Eng and His Excellency Joseph Yun (US Ambassador to Malaysia) graced the ceremony with a toast to mark the US Independence Day Gala Dinner.
